Hi Ken,

Software update wants to give me 10.5.7. Should I take it?

Well, you know that we are expecting a new iPhone in awhile, with the new 3.0 software. Maybe the new phone will have a faster processor.

Have you tested with the iTouch as it does have a faster processor then the iPhone?

I understand, but there is the rumor of a new iPhone this Summer, so maybe it will be faster.

This is disappointing. Here I was hopping you were making plugins for the editing app that is going to be on the new iPhones with video capability.

It's real time voice disguise software so you can sound anything like your voice is running through a harmonizer or sound like someone else when you make a call on your iPhone or WiFi Skype on iPod Touch. The problem you're running in to is the voice synthesis is taxing the processor especially with the real time waveform display you're trying to implement.

And let's not forget the Vector Scope, as anyone can tell you, a 'disguised' voice has to have the right 'color' to it. Not possible without a RT Vector scope. And don't forget to 'crush' those blacks.

I know what you mean. I've been running FCP on my iPhone and I find that the 'three way' color corrector is very slow. Hardly any RT at all.

ps I installed the OS upgrade and have had no issues on the Mac Pro. Yet to install it on the MacBook Pro though
