KGCore Plug-in

Last night I had several crashes on FCP that says "The problem may have been caused by the KGCore plug in"? I have read some earlier information on the board that suggested re-installing FCP? Am I already at that point, or is there an easier fix. Seems I lost some work too even though I saved multiple times. Any suggestions?

The "good" news: you are not alone.

The bad news: there is no fixed solution for this. Many times a simple deleting of FCP preferences solves the problem, in some cases a complete re-install of FCP is required. Start with trashing your FCP preferences.

Always have Autosave on and make FCP autosave frequently, all my systems are set to 5 minutes. This does not slow down anything and it protects you against losing your work in case anything goes wrong.
