JVC capture issues ... 111 capturing breaks in TC

Hi all,

I thought that some early issues of capture from from the 100 series JVC HDV PRO cameras had been resolved, but I'm getting one persistent set of problems from a customer who seems to show otherwise.

They recently updated the firmware on their model 111 and have been trying to capture footage with disastrous results.

The problem is that the output seems to have time code breaks at random intervals, which creates an inability to recapture previously recorded material ... or even capture a stream of material shot on the camera now, even after a firmware upgrade ... not good! I've read the great paper put out by Adamski, et al, however that paper seems to revolve around the recapture with long handles problems of using the 250 series decks with SDI.

Has anyone with the same camera been having this problem and if so, how were you able to fix the cut up capture problem?
