Supposedly if you have Perian installed it plays back almost everything at slow or half framerate.

I updated QT yesterday on my pet G5 running Tiger v.11 and all the latest Proapps, also Perian installed. No problems here. Will update the Leopard Macpros tommorrow evening and will keep you posted.
