iDVD - buttons not highlighting

hi everyone,

Im trying to author a project using iDVD and for some reason when i burned my master i noticed that once i got to the sub-menu's the boxes for each chapter werent highlighting (and in some cases are disappearing) making it extremely difficult to navigate.

Has anyone ever experienced this and if so if their a fix for it? The main menu seems fine as its only text but once i get into the sub menu's which have still shot boxes the issues start.
