Safari -Develop

My buddy just called. He has the latest update for Safari on his old iMac running Mavericks, but in the Safari menu, along the top, he said he doesn't have 'Develop' sandwiched in between Bookmarks and Window. I am at a loss as to why or how he can get it. I was going to show him how to empty caches but Develop is not there. Any suggestions?

Okay, found the solution. Go to Safari prefs and click on the Advanced tab. At the bottom it will have a box to click on that says 'Show Develop Menu in Menu Bar'.
