Re: Error: Out of Memory

Hi,

Im working on a project in FCP7 and am now getting an error code "out of memory". Ive deleted files, deleted render files, closed any open tabs and programs, rebooted, etc but i still keep getting this message. Im working off an external drive could that be an issue? Footage is apple pro res 422 which i converted to .mov from .mts and im also using some video footage from another still camera which didnt need conversion and uploaded as H264. Not sure if any of this matters but thought id add in case.

If anyone has any advice id greatly appreciate it. Thanks alot

Hi Regan,

Do you have any still images in your timeline. No CYMK stills. Also, be sure than none of your stills are larger than 4,000 x 4,000 pixels.

Happens to me when I'm outputting large picture files. First close FCP7 then reopen. Then render your video in the sequence first, THEN re-export.
