FCP7

I seem to remember in FCP7 there was a way to grab the audio level of a clip with many key frames and 'flatten' them against the top or the bottom of the clip.
Can't for the life of me remember or find reference to this.
Am I mistaken?

I have been selecting the clip and using remove attributes> levels
I was sure though you could just grab the levels bar and holding down a modifier key just push it right up to the top and make the love straight (all the key frames still there, just now you are back to a straight line)
Perhaps I was mistaken
