I'm sorry Ken, that is what I meant to type, Control + apostrophe, but my fingers remember the old way.

I did use Control + ', but it does not go to the next marker, nor does Control + ; move to the previous.

Is there such a thing as 'trashing the prefs'?

Thanks for the cheat sheet. It is at the ready and sure I will be using it.

Reset preferences in Final Cut Pro X 10.1.2 or later

Quit Final Cut Pro X.

Hold down the Command and Option keys while reopening Final Cut Pro X. A window will appear asking "Do you want to delete preferences?"

Click Delete Preferences. This command removes the preference files and resets Final Cut Pro X to default settings.

Well Ken, that cleared all the preferences, but Control + ' does not move the head to the next marker. It nudges it ahead a few frames, but won't go past that.
