Continue Zoom-in thru Dissolves in FCP X

Hi Ken,

I just started cutting my first project in FCP X. Is there a way when zooming in or out or panning on a scene (or using the "Ken Burns Effect") that I can extend the move past the cut point on either end so that the move continues through dissolves on either end, i.e., so that we never see the move beginning or ending? I'm aware that this is considered cropping in FCP X.

Right click on a clip that you want to extend. Select Lift From Storyline or whatever. There ya go. :)
