Re: Getting even in/out dissolves

Getting rolling with FXP X (10.1.3).

Added dissolve around text graphic via Edit pulldown (Cross Dissolve). The dissolve IN is noticeable more rapid than the dissolve OUT.

When I expand the dissolve-IN 'box/frame', the dissolve seems come in at the same point in time at the same rate, and still noticeable faster than the dissolve OUT.

There was a post a week and a half ago where someone was experiencing a similar problem (fade OUT was too short in that case). The 'fix' was very complicated and I could not follow it. Also, way too much work to get a simple even dissolve.

Is there something I'm missing here??

Are you using the custom dissolve (CMD+T) ?

I see what the problem is. Operator error.

Basically I need to spend more time familiarizing myself with the program.
