Hey Trig,

I assume you are working with the latest version (10.1.3) ? If so, it is very easy to delete and refresh your FCP X preferences:

Close FCP X and launch it again while holding the ALT+CMD keys pressed down. A message will appear asking you if you want to delete your FCP X preferences. Confirm and let FCP X launch. It will open with an empty Library.

Best wishes,

Ronny

Thanks Ronny, that worked. And I got the Share thing to work after re-importing all the files again.

BTW, where are the prefs hidden now?

If I tell you I will have the Apple secret police at my doorstep hahaha.

Just kidding, the preference files are still where they were.

Press down the Option (ALT) key and in the Apple menu bar select Go > Library. This will open your user library.
Open the Preferences folder and you will see the FCP X preferences inside.

Best wishes,

Ronny
