Re: DVD Studio Pro just sits when formating/building on a certain %

have another issue with DVD studio pro. DVD Studio pro when formating / building the disk just sits for example at 31% and nothing happens. not warning it just did not move. Now I kind a figured out it is the file I am using Apple ProrRes Files created in Final Cut pro 7 . The wired issue is sometimes it works with another file sometimes it does not. My workaround is that I have to pre render the file in Compressor and then use that clip for the DVD and then it renders alright.

anybody have an idea why it would just sit there with the bigger pro Res files

Your diagnosis is correct, always make your assets outside of DVDSP, this software has reduced ability to encode media.
