CMD+X deletes and copies the selected clips. In your screenshot the video clip and the audio clip get deleted when you press CMD+X. So that's correct.

But Ronnie, why does it also delete the audio clip at the bottom right of the selected clip?

Ah I see. This should not happen. Try moving the Connection point of the second audio clip.
