Re: Progressive Video Issue

Hi guys,

It's been a very long time since i posted in these forums and have really missed my video work.

I haven't had much experience in the plethora of video codecs but am slowly finding my way.

Could you please help me answer this question?

I have some footage that was shot using a JVC ProHD camera, it was shot in the non FCP friendly .mp4 codec but on my system is visible by Adobe Media Encoder. The footage is 1920x1080, 25fps, progressive, XDCAM EX.

I can see jaggies on this footage and I can't understand why, any thoughts?

It will be converted to ProRes but I want to make sure the settings are correct, no external monitor right now but I will have a BlackMagic card arriving very soon.
