Key Commands in Logic

I know this is a FCP forum, so if this is to off topic please let me know.

I just upgraded to Yosemite, which made my FCP 7 studio useless. I upgraded to FCP X, and I also downloaded Logic Pro X to replace Sound Track Pro. Here is the issues I am having. I am trying to pull up my keyboard shortcuts so I can assign certain functions, and simply look at them so I can figure out the very basics of how to use my tools with my keyboard. When I press Option + K (as someone has told me to do) nothing happens. When I go to Logic Pro X + Key Command Shortcuts, all it says is different languages, and US is checked. But I still can't get to a place where I can see my shortcut keys. I understand this is a simple and basic thing, but its quite frustrating. Any help would be very welcomed.

Never mind folks. I figured it out.

Seems I didn't have advanced editing check in my preferences, and this was what made the difference.
