Up to what version of OS will FCP7 work with?

I'm running FCP 7 on Yosemite 10.10.2. However, I installed Yosemite over Mavericks. I've read that FCP 7 may not run on a fresh install of Yosemite.

It does. I freshly installed FCP7 on a fresh install of 10.10.1.

How exactly did you install "FCP7 on a fresh install of 10.10.1."? Did you use the install disks from FCP Studio?
AFAIK all OS's since Lion have blocked installing Legacy FCP Studio apps without some workarounds or by using Migration Assistant.
Inquiring minds want to know;-)

Yeah I just clicked the installer and it worked without a hitch. Maybe I'm special?
