Re: Fade/disolve connected clip overwrite primary storyline

FCPX does not let me overwrite to primary storyline a connected clip that was previously connected through a fade or dissolve to the primary storyline. Only gives me the option lift from storyline, even if the clip is not on the storyline but is a connected clip. Thanks for helping.

When you apply a transition to a connected clip the clip gets placed in a secondary storyline (screenshot 1).

To overwrite this clip and the transition to the primary storyline: select the secondary storyline (click on the black bar above the clip) and press ALT+CMD+Arrow Down (screenshot 2).
