Chapter Markers FCP7 (April 06, 2015 06:14PM) Margo
I have edited a sequence using chapter markers. The sequence is too long to burn to one DVD and I'm cutting it into 2 parts. When attempting to copy the sequence, the chapter markers did not copy with the sequence.

Is there a trick to doing this or do I need to add the chapter markers a second time? The sequence was cut using Multiclip editing.

Thanks - you're always appreciated.

1. Set IN and OUT points for the first disc, then export (or Send to Compressor).
2. Set IN and OUT points for the second disc, then export (or Send to Compressor).

- or -

1. Duplicate the Sequence in the Browser.
2. In the original Sequence, delete all footage/clips that won't be on the first disc.
3. Open the duplicated Sequence.
4. In the duplicate Sequence, delete all footage/clips delete all footage that won't be on the second disc.
5. Export each Sequence for DVD authoring.

- or -

1. Use a dual-layer DVD disc (DVD-9)

Thanks David. In the middle of the night I woke up and realized - duplicate it in the browser.

But I'm going to try and find a dual-layer DVD to make the copies.

Thanks again - I appreciate your information.
