Re: Installing Final Cut Pro 4 and Studio

I recently had to replace my 27" iMac (purchased in 2011) with the same unit from the same year. Im trying to install final Cut Pro now and am getting the following message "Final Cut Pro cannot be installed on this disk. You did not enter a valid registration code."

I wasn't given the opportunity to enter a registration code anywhere so I'm a bit perplexed. This is a completely legit version of FCP that i purchased so i wouldn't think there would be any issues. Any ideas as to why I'm getting this message?

FCP4? That's a PPC app, pretty sure that won't run on Intel macs

I'm with XGTV on this; FCP 4 was for PPC processor Macs only. It won't install properly or even run on an Intel processor Mac.
