I started a travel doc back in the DV days, early 90's using a Canon XL and shooting in 16 x 9. A small DV cable channel has interest. I see all those local channels with 4:3 and wonder if I can give them a 16 x 9 copy?

They'll letterbox it, resulting in large black borders for anyone with a 16:9 display, which is pretty much everybody.
