Never heard if this.

Does this happen with all of your title templates or just a particular one?

Can you post a screenshot of the title on the timeline and one of the Viewer to see how the problem looks?

Have you changed anything in your system setup between the last time the titles were ok and now?

Is it possible you accidentally added an extra white band layer as foreground in either in Motion or FCPX?
Or maybe reversed the layers??
Try opening the effect in the inspector pane in FCP and then open the effect in Motion. Compare the inspector layers with the original Motion templet. Make sure to expand any info triangles.
Looks like a white band was added that is obscuring the text. Does the text layer show up in the Inspector Pane? Is there a "White" layer??? If you see a "White layer" turn off the layer.
If this isn't it, have you tried to republish the original effect from Motion? Maybe just a glitch or maybe some programming error.
Finally, open up the project from an auto saved version before the problem occurred and compare the Inspector pane. Then try to build from there and see if this resolves the issue.
