Re: audio gremlin

I am capturing footage from DSR 45. Everything was fine. Then I couldn't hear the audio while scrubbing through the tape. I could see the VU meter levels moving and did a test capture. The audio and video came in fine - but of course when trying to capture I can't hear anything.

I also put in another tape and the same thing occurs.

I have checked "preview" on the capture window and the timeline plays back fine. I've checked cables on the DSR and everything seems to be okay.

Any suggestions?

I've never been able to hear audio through the computer while capturing. I always just listen to the source directly if I need to hear it.

Thanks Joe. I think the problem is in the deck. It comes and goes.
