Re: Motion 5.2.2-Not Saving and Unable to Undo

Hi Ken,

Weird thing just started happening. Suddenly, Motion is not saving anything I do. That is, Command + Z or Undoing under the Edit category is not working because nothing I do is being saved.
I've trashed preferences and restarted to no avail.
What could be causing this and how can I fix it. Very frustrating!

Hi Phil,

If you are using Motion 5.1.2, this is how you should delete the preferences:

Quit Motion.
Hold the Command and Option keys while opening Motion.
A window appears asking you to Continue opening Motion or Delete Preferences.
Click Delete Preferences. This command removes the preference files and resets Motion to default settings.

If this does not help, try reinstalling Motion.

Hi Ronny,

It appears to be working now. But the weird thing is that it only happens on this one project. It involves panning spotlights
across 3D titles. When I switch to another project, it doesn't happen.

You might try saving the project under a different name (save as) to see if this makes a difference.
