Animate an arrow over a moving Google Earth map?

Folks,

We're trying to use Google Earth Pro to maximum advantage.
We fly a route from start to finish zooming over a road.
We would like to show an arrow tracking the exact course of the road, but the flight weaves a bit.
Having googled and read all about animating arrows -- we can do that -- over a non-moving map.
But we can't figure how to move the arrow successfully over a moving target below (the route 'as the crow flies').
Using bezier lines and edit points still have us all over the place.

Anybody?
Also anybody know an answer to the 'backing up projects to several drives' below?
