FCP7 mix of compressor

FCP7 mix of compressor (April 21, 2016 06:00AM) Margo
I am editing in FCP 7. When I imported my clips, some came in as HDV 1080p30/24-bit integer and others at H.264/32-bit floating.

I know this was because the camera settings were changed.

My question is: other than having to render in my sequence each time I insert an H.264 clip, will this create any other issues for me during editing or export?

I've attached a screen shot of the browser.

Thank you,

Margo

FCP7 doesn't work with H264. The correct workflow is to log and transfer to ProRes. If you already have the files on your computer bring them in to Mpeg Streamclip and convert to ProRes before importing to FCP.
