Re: Timeline and Q short cut

I'm wondering why FCPX when using the Q short cut to place clip in the TL, it puts my clip on a Track 2 if there is one. It places the clip above the main clips.

Try 'E' from the keyboard "Add the selection to the end of the storyline".

Is this what you want to do?

Q is for "Connect the selection to the primary storyline"
