I personally have had nothing but trouble with the H4n. It's extremely buggy and it takes two weeks just to power on and boot up. Often my H4n would lose files completely. At least yours are still on the card. Your file may be corrupted. I don't know any way to retrieve it if it won't copy to the Finder. How were you able to rename them? The H5 works much better and only takes 2 seconds to power on and be ready.
