Hi all, will Finalcut Studio 3 (inc DVDSP), run on Yosemite? Mt Lion is being left behind for iTunes , logins to other apps,etc
I really need some feed-back, thanks.

(Not sure which is Final Cut Studio 3, but FCP7 sure does. I never pay attention to the Studio numbers.

Some of the programs in FCS3 will no longer work in Yosemite.
DVDSP and FCP7 will.
Motion 4, STP, Color, LiveType and some others won't or are handicapped. Think Compressor is broken in latest OS as well but not sure and it may still work in Yosemite. Each new OS version tends to create new issues with FCS3 and all apps inside are considered obsolete and no longer supported by Apple.
Both Motion5 and Compressor4 are available as stand alone apps in the App Store for ~$50.00USD each and will work as replacements.

Soundtrack Pro works for me. However I only do simple things with it. Any word on what's handicapped about it?

They will work the same in El Capitan and Sierra.
