All was well with El Capitan and FCP7 until I attempted to burn dvds & blu-ray with the SHARE option. Any work around on this? Thanks so much everyone.

Are you wanting to store data or author and write a DVD or Blueray?

Burning dvd & blu-ray for playing in a dvd/blu-ray player from a final cut sequence.

Then you need authoring software, SHARE won't do that to a marketable level. DVDSP (if you can still find it and work in a MacOS that still supports it) is your best bet for Mac.
