Compressor issue

FCP 7.0.3, compressor 3.5.3 OS 10.6.8, iMAC 2.8GHz Intel core i7

Trying to "Share>send to compressor>MPEG-2 5.0 Mbps 2-pass.
Original source file is 1920x1080 linear PCM Prores 422, color profile 1-1-1

It's been running for two hours, Target file shows zero kbs, Batch Monitor shows a projected time remaining of 216:05:13 and climbing.

What is going on? What can I do to fix this?

That happened to me a few times. One time I stopped the Compressor and started over and it worked. When it happened again I was able to get a small Compressor Repair app and it fixed Compressor in a second or two. Do a search for it on line.
