No picture in my canvas window

Working in FCP7. Suddenly the sequence could not be seen in my canvas window. I'm on a new iMac. Tried other drives and projects - no visual. I could hear it, but couldn't see it.

Took it down to my old Mac and no problem.

Brought it back up to my iMac and exported a 3 second section and viewed it as an .mov with no problem. The clips were viewable.

I just can't see to edit! Any suggestions? Have I screwed up a setting somewhere? Do I need to call Apple?

Was it working properly and then just stopped working?

Did you check the little drop down menu in the Canvas window to be sure that it is set properly ?
