Unable to delete or unhighlight effects in the Inspector

Hi Ken,

I am unable to delete or unhighlight these effects in the Inspector. I deleted preferences, re-installed FCP X and even created a new user account to no avail. I did come up with a workaround: I copied all the effects in the clip, deleted the clip from the timeline, cut it back in, and pasted all the effects minus the Aged Film. I reported this problem to FCP Feedback as a bug.
