White Screen Viewer

Hi Folks,

I'm working with FCP 5.something and just opened a new project. When I overwrite a clip to the timeline it plays normally but when I stop playback instead of seeing the frame I'm looking at 2 polar bears wrestling in a blizzard, in other words, a white screen. Kinda hard to edit that way. Any ideas?

Ben check the alpha setting from the window pull down menu should be RBG.
