MXF and M1 chip

I shot footage with a Sony FS5 the format is MXF. I am stored the MXF files on an external drive and I am trying to edit in FXPx version 10.5.2 on an I mac with M1 chip.
When I try to import the MXF files into FCP X I get the message;
The files could not be imported Rosetta required.

I googled final cut and rosetta, but only can find an Italian YouTube video of which I understand about 10 percent.

I would appreciate any help.

I am trying to import Sony FS 7 footage next, if there is anything I might need I would appreciate a head up.
