HD rendering

HD rendering (November 17, 2008 04:25AM) Mikey
I just finished my first HD project. TIme was of the essence so I just used compressor and rendered a best quality 90 minute 16:9 mpeg right from the timeline and burned a quick approval DVD from that. It is a 9 minute program. The resulting disc looks okay, but not as good as the HD footage playing from the timeline. I am guessing there is a better way to create a standard DVD from an HD timeline. Now that I have more time, I would like to get the finished and hopefully approved master done properly. Looking for the best way to do that. For the record, it is 720p, using that easy setup.

One friend recommended Visual Hub. I am looking into that, which is a bit tricky since it appears they stopped making it.
