Cos,

What are you talking about what do you need to know? Just DL Cyberduck and install it. It is pretty basic.

This is a ftp client programe so you use it do upload and download from a file/web server. Are you getting confused between an FTP server? I use this app a lot, it's great.

there is the icon with a yellow duck and one other. do I copy both in the applications or just use the yellow duck?

Just use the icon, put it in you app folder and click on it it will open as an ftp client program.
