Best Way to grab a Still image

Im trying to help a photographer friend of mine..he lost some images at a Bar Mitzvah from the family photo shoot...I was videotaping in DV format...what is the best way to save a still image for print? Is it a pict file? Also, when the photogs flash goes off and I freeze the image, there are horizontal lines going through the frame...I tried flicker filter but that softens the image too much, I also tried changing the fields, but that doesnt help much either...any suggestions?

Hi Anne,

Park your playhead on the frame that you want.

FIle menu > Export QT with Conversion

Click on the Format button and select 'Still image'.

Click on the Options button > Format > TIFF > Save.
