I am about to upgrade from Mountain Lion to Mavericks. I know Motion 5 doesn't work with FCP 7 seamlessly (I will need to export to Qtime movie), therefore I would like to keep both Motion 4 and 5 running on the same machine. I think that may not work though (as I think Motion 5 detects 4 and cannot run if 4 is on the same computer). Can anyone advice? Can I partition my computer so I can keep using both versions?
I want to keep for to work seamlessly with FCP 7 but also so I can open and work on older projects....
