Mac Standalone OS X Update Installers.

To be able to run FCP 3 on OS X you must be running OS 10.1.1.

To start this upgrade process you need to be running OS 10.1 which is available on CD.

If your Mac is not on line, you'll need to download the 'Standalone' Update Installers and transfer them via Zip or Ethernet to your off line Mac. You must install in the following order.

1) "Security Update 10-19-01"

After you have installed this update you'll need to restart your Mac before moving to the next step.

2) "Installer Update 1.0"

After you have installed this update you'll need to restart your Mac before moving to the next step.

3) "Update 10.1.1"

After you have installed this update you'll need to restart your Mac before you install FCP 3.

4) "Update 10.1.2"

There is now yet another OS X updater. This one is not required for FCP 3. It's large at 30 megs.

5) "Update 10.1.3"

This update can be used only to update from Mac OS X 10.1.2. 16 megs.

6) "Update 10.1.3" Combo

If you are updating from Mac OS X 10.1 or Mac OS X 10.1.1, you need the Mac OS X Update Combo 10.1.3. at 38.4 megs

7) "Update 10.1.4"

This update can be used only to update from Mac OS X 10.1.3. - 1.7 megs.

8) "Update 10.1.5"

Update 10.1.5 delivers enhancements which improve the reliability of Mac OS X applications, delivers improved networking, security, support for PC Card serial communication devices, and expanded peripheral device support. - 21.4 megs.

9) "Mac OS X Update Combo 10.1.5:"

Update 10.1.5 Combo allows you to go to 10.1.5 directly from OS X 10.1, 10.1.1, and 10.1.2. - 45.1 megs.

10) "Repair Privileges Utility"

The Repair Privileges utility restores the privileges (or "permissions") of Mac OS X system files and Apple-installed software to their default configuration. This document contains a link for downloading the Repair Privileges utility. - 72 k.
