film fest success

This board was invaluable in helping me prepare for a film festival event this weekend - showcasing
14 short films, shot in various HDV, mastered in FCP Studio, exported in Proress422,
Compressed in Compressor, and authored in DVDSP.
A Few Notes:
1080 x 1920 Proress422 film played via Mac Pro DVI to the projectors DVI input yielded very dark, off color results.
The identical SD DVD mastered from the same Prores422 file above was clean, crisp, lighter, color accurate.
I thought playing a high pixel file at high bit rates of 117 mbits p/s would yield great results.
Compressor seems to know what its doing and as Ken's Article shows you, does it simply and with great results.
Go with SD DVD. ( don't forget to set your DVDSP prefs for 16:9 though - also a helpful article.
