a pack

Hi david I have all i need to work with A pack however it keeps giving me thsi message when I drag and drop my aiff file on left input ( the file moms bday aiff cannot be used because an os error of type -50 occured) This is the message i keep getting?

tom are you around or ken- I am doing the A pack and I recall my Qt audio set to 48khz and on stereo could this be my problem why i cant drag the aiff file to the left input in A pack? i made my mpeg 2 movie and it took long time is this also normal for huge file?
