Decent/affordable HD field monitor?

Anybody have a recommendation for an affordable small HD monitor to use in the field? I'm looking at the Ikan V5600. It's $630, which is doable for me. I know you can't really check focus with a monitor, (I'm learning to shoot with my new HPX170) but I need my partner to be able to watch the scene for continuity and for at least a decent idea of the exposure and framing of a shot.
