Outputting for client review... (October 30, 2009 05:35AM) manicboss
Hello all...it's been a while. Ken, the new board looks great!

I recently taped a seminar for a corporate client. Thirty total hours, static camera, one shot. BOR-ing, but he paid.

He wants to review the footage on his laptop, and has QT installed. He likes .Mov files with timecode reader burned in. No worries there.

I've got the thirty hours of SD footage captured, with timecode reader on the clips.
Now, I need to export to an external hard-drive so that he can review the clips on his laptop.

The clips need not be high quality, just viewable. Can anyone recommend output settings that will keep the export time short, and file sizes small? Should I stick with H.264, or is there another that will speed up the export? I'm thinking 480 x 360 with 15 fps is a good starting point.

Thanks for indulging my very simple questions...
