Hello,
I'm interested in purchasing the camera Canon XF100. It uses the Canon XF codec. How will I be able to import that footage into FCP7? I think I will need an mxf video converter (which is the best available)? What is the most efficient way/process to do this before starting editing? Thanks, Marie

At a guess you will need the Canon MXF plug for FCP to convert to ProRes during Log and Transfer.
