resizing the frame?

I've got a hard drive with media files (already logged in project/sequence from original Red camera files) that are too big -
2048 x 1152 Apple ProRes 422. Is there a reasonable process to resize the files to smaller frame, like 960 x 720 (or something similar) so it's easier to edit? There will be on line done after editing.
I'll appreciate any help.
