Okay, I just got Final Pro X. Is their anyway I can import to Toast 11 Pro from Final Cut Pro X with out export from Final Cut Pro X. in imovie you can do this. I'm using .mts files. I like to do this because so I can edit my video.

The proper way is to first convert your .mts files using Streamclip or Toast or ClipWrap, then import the converted files in FCPX. But I wonder why you would want to do this, unless you have saved individual .mts files on a hard drive and you haven't saved the entire directory structure that came with the files (which you always should do).

If your footage is in the AVVCAM or AVCHD .mts format and it is on an SD card or on your camera you can import the footage straight from the card in FCPX using Import From Camera. FCPX will automatically convert the .mts files to a decent format while importing.

Best wishes,

Ronny
