all this time and i didn't know that...

If you look at the menu item selections they will show the shortcut key combinations to use for that action. Not all actions have shortcut keys assigned but I'm sure paste insert shows it. You can also assign a shortcut key combo to a selection. I did it once but forgot how it's done. Someone on this board can help you do that if needed.
