Encore Blu-Ray Transcode Error - Help ?

Hi Ken

I've built a simple program in Encore for a Blu-Ray DVD.

I went in and hit CHECK the project….hit start….and the program came back with 1 error. So I went inside and made the change.

I tried it again and there were NO ERRORS. So I then HIt "BUILD"

The build process stopped because of this ERROR message. SEE IMAGE ATTACHED….

QUESTIONS

1. Why didn't this error message show up when I checked the project ?

2. What does ERROR WITH DIRECTORY "TRANSCODES" mean ?

3. How do I fix this ?

Ken….I rebuilt the blu-ray 3 x and the last one got fixed……so I am a happy person….sort of….

Good to hear that you've made some progress. Sorry, but I've never worked with Encore.

Encore is the only option Mac users have to build competent Blu-rays (Toast's MPEG-2 at 8mbps and lack of additional audio tracks is unacceptable). Encore is no longer supported on any platform. It's too bad that Blu-ray authoring never took off the way it should have. We have a show and we have an insane demand for Blu-rays of it. People are even willing to settle for DVDs but I can't. Optical media isn't dead.
