DV footage 16:9 with bars in FCP and somewithout

I am editing three interviews all imported by the same camera etc When i made a new timeline for one of the interviews it has given the footage bars on top and bottom. The other two - still on their original timeline from when i dragged them in - do not have bars.

I have edited the first interview with bars and other b roll footage but want to make it the same as other interviews minus the bars - what do I do?

If you load a clip with the bars on into the viewer, select the motion tab and click on the distort drop down is the aspect ratio set to -33.33? If so, set it to 0. If that has righted things then select all the other clips in your timeline and paste attributes (OPT-V), making sure the distort checkbox is ticked.
